Y’all it’s been a bang-start to 2024 for me and judging by the Instagram photo message I received from Devon late last Wednesday evening starring *McDonalds*, it’s been about the same for her.
We are at the third act of winter though and if you, like me, find your cold dark heart melting as the sidewalk thaws alongside it- then let me raise a spring in our step (and in our sip) to you, my fellow winter troll, we’ve almost made it.
Vamos a la March (brought to you by Kacey’s announcement she is quitting weed. Good for you, girl.)

Listening:
The Witch Trials of JK Rowling on Spotify (an IMO a very balanced take on the social cancellation of Rowling/the incendiary state of society in general- 10/10-worth a listen)
Fourth Wing on Audible (I don’t love this series, but I’m nearly halfway through book two so at this point, it’s about momentum, 7/10)
Who tf did I marry on TikTok (Yes, I listened to the whole thing. I thought it was about 20 videos too long but still a pretty wild tale, and we love a redemption arc! 8/10)
Selling: things on Poshmark (shameless plug) like… this cute green dress, this pair of brand-new French-made black leather gloves, a J-Crew coat, and the absolute best shoes to wear to any Taylor Swift show in the future, ever.
Planning: a trip to literally anywhere but mostly to this pool in Puglia.
Pondering: Do I really need another pretty plate? (Yes. Yes, I do.)
Eating: pigs in a blanket with a spicy twist, baked feta dip (also hot), buffalo chicken spaghetti squash (yeah ok, spicy too).
…And one pro shopping tip (maybe?): Sometimes I’ll buy clothes at full price to learn my size and then return them. Then, I’ll set an alert on Depop/Poshmark/The Real Real/eBay etc. This usually works best for items like trousers/jeans. But I did finally find this High Sport top recently that retailed originally for 680 (I know) and made an offer for 120! If you’re patient and know your size/style, you can get a hell of a deal this way.

Waiting for: these sneakers to arrive and add a little colorful pep in my step this spring. Also, while on the subject of color - this bag is fab, and surprise: not only is cerulean blue “in” for spring, but so is olive green, apparently.
Eating: my current salad-on-constant rotation directly out of this big ass splatter enamel bowl, because 1. it’s cute and 2. I simply just don’t have time to dirty up and clean TWO bowls (that, or I’m lazy). If I weren’t klutzy, I’d also consider adding this raddicho bowl into the rotation, too.
Love: this roundup of 56 BA recipes we should all be making, and this renovated and incredibly well-decorated motorboat.
Organizing: my life with a few of these cuties.
Upping: my snail mail game with piñata (!!) stamps and, soon, Ansel Adams ones.
