The heart wants what it wants, and our hearts want a cute friend with an accessible PJ (or an accessible friend with a cute PJ) and to be invited to Sofia Richie’s next wedding (I said it). Seriously though, let’s give it up for this girl’s PR team for the total rebrand from merely Scott Disick’s ex-gf to Vogue Magazine’s bridal princess of the moment. Scratch the above intro, my heart wants to be plucked from obscurity with such glamour and grace.
Alas, we don’t have a friend with a PJ nor have we been invited to any celebrity weddings as of late, but the day is young so stay tuned. And speaking of tunes…

Listening to: Is anyone else using Spotify’s new DJ feature? It’s pretty cool but also sort of a calculated troll, no? He’ll be like, “And here’s a song you played 27 times in September 2017,” in his smooth DJ-esque voice. And the song will be like… Mandy Moore, Candy. Is there judgment there, sir? I think so. But also, love it, listening again, might hit repeat 17 times, what a bop.
Curious about: Melatonin cereal?? Sleep snacks feel a little sad (Can’t sleep? Eat your feelings) but also gotta give it up for a clever new angle to capitalism.
Reading: If I give you one rec this week, it’s to subscribe to Harling Ross’s new substack Gumshoe and very specifically READ this blog on only buying clothes made of cotton, wool, cashmere, and silk. I feel like I found religion. I spent an entire afternoon reviewing the contents of every article of clothing in my closet and I was shocked at how much polyester is in… everything. Even if it’s a nice brand! The deception.
TLDR: Read your clothing ingredient labels before purchasing, have clothes that last years. Don’t spend money on mere labels, a lot of designers stick polyester/rayon in their products and still rack up the price point.
Wearing: Look at this cute clip! You can copy me if you want.
Addicted to: Weird flex but Maranatha almond butter (creamy, no sugar added) is the best almond butter of them all. I will be taking no further questions.

Adding to my summertime wanderlust wish list: an absolute dreamboat of a villa in Palm Springs, a Maine houseboat adjacent to oyster heaven, and a private island in Panama.
Delighting in: cheap thrills in the form of body wash that smells so nice I want to drink it (just to be clear, I won’t), cheery little cherry red Bermuda shorts that’ll be an integral player in my warmer weather uniform, and lightweight foldable duffel bags to stash in my suitcase (which, I should have bought long ago).
Crushing on: some groovy (and very $$$$) men’s cardigans because Andy Sandburg was wearing one, and I love him, so you do the math on that sphere of influence. Also, these espadrilles that I saw in San Miguel de Allende that, somehow, the margaritas couldn’t convince me to buy at the moment - but are now sitting really really pretty in my shopping cart…

Bookmarking: this author’s ‘On 34 Things I’ve Learned in 34 Years’ list (timely since I’m one week into the same age), cause birthdays are weird and I *adore* a list. But, since there’s a paywall, here’s a snippet for ya:
